Prior to recently rejoining the church I spent many years as a 'C and E' Christian attending services with my wife.  At times, I also experienced the negative attitude from priests and parishioners.  Even worse than those experiences were the snide comments from my parents.

Anyone who shows up at a church at any time should be celebrated.  They represent an opportunity for gentle evangelism, not someone to be scorned.

If we take action that turns them farther away from the church, what damage are we doing to their soul?
