Thank you. Prior to recently rejoining the church I spent many years as a 'C and E' Christian attending services with my wife. At times, I also experienced the negative attitude from priests and parishioners. Even worse than those experiences were the snide comments from my parents. Anyone who shows up at a church at any time should be celebrated. They represent an opportunity for gentle evangelism, not someone to be scorned.
